BYU QB Taysom Hill was lost for the season during their first game last week at Nebraska, but the Cougars have not missed a beat with their magical freshman backup, Tanner Mangum.
Mangum helped lead BYU to a win on a last second Hail Mary TD over the Huskers, and on Saturday, used his powers again to help upset Boise State.
Down 28-24 with less than a minute left, BYU faced a fourth down from the 35-yard line. That’s when Mangum would connect with Mitchell Juergens for the go-ahead score.
Moments later, BYU safety Kai Nacua would return an interception for a touchdown to seal the win.
