Former Iowa Hawkeyes football standout Tyler Sash was found dead in his home on Tuesday. The news broke on twitter, and details at the moment are still unknown.
Sash reported one concussion in college, suffered another in the 2011 NFC Championship Game, and then a third in the 2013 preseason.

Sash, 27, was a star safety at the University of Iowa and holds the career interception yardage record for the Hawkeyes. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Giants, and was a rookie on their 2011 Super Bowl-winning team.
After playing 23 games and two seasons with the Giants, Sash was released in 2013, and hasn’t appeared in a NFL game since.
It should be noted that he was once suspended by the NFL for using Adderall.
